Job Title: Carrier Compliance & Operations Systems Specialist

Location: Corporate Headquarters with Multi-Location Travel Required

Reports To: Operations Leadership

 

Position Summary

The Carrier Compliance & Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting carrier onboarding and compliance management, and software training. This role serves as a key link between operations, compliance, and technology, ensuring carriers are properly onboarded, systems are effectively adapted, and teams are trained to operate efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to train and support users at varying skill levels, and a willingness to travel regularly to company office locations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Carrier Onboarding & Compliance

  • Manage and support the carrier onboarding process across all logistics entities

  • Ensure carrier compliance, documentation, and safety requirements

  • Ensure onboarding processes align with internal standards and regulatory requirements

  • Assist in identifying and resolving carrier compliance issues

  • Maintain accurate records within company systems

 

Software Training & Implementation

  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for operations staff

  • Support implementation of new software platforms, tools, and operational enhancements

  • Develop and maintain training materials, guides, and best-practice documentation

  • Work with leadership to improve adoption, consistency, and process efficiency

 

Travel & On-Site Support

  • Travel to all company office locations as needed to support training, onboarding, and implementation efforts

  • Provide in-person support during rollouts, transitions, and process improvements

  • Build strong working relationships with local teams and leadership

 

Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies in onboarding and system usage

  • Recommend process improvements

  • Assist with standardizing workflows across multiple locations

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or brokerage operations preferred

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and locations

  • Willing and able to travel regularly

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; TMS experience preferred

 

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with TMS platforms and integrations

  • Understanding of broker vs. carrier compliance requirements

  • Ability to translate technical processes into practical training

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
